Stephen has extensive experience in trial and appellate courts obtaining verdicts favourable to his clients in a variety of litigation matters. He obtained his B.A. from Yale University in 1973 and his LL.B from Queen’s University in 1977 and was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 1979. Formerly a partner with Thomson Rogers and then a senior partner at MacDonald & Swan LLP, Stephen specializes in all aspects of serious personal injury claims, complex insurance disputes and commercial litigation.

He is a member of the Advocates’ Society, The Medico-Legal Society of Toronto and the Canadian Bar Association.

Amos Vang

As an associate litigation lawyer, Amos Vang brings a passion for advocacy and is committed to providing injured and wronged individuals with access to justice.  Amos represents clients injured in motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls and other personal injury matters. He also advocates on behalf of those denied long-term disability and life insurance claims.

Amos earned his Bachelor of Arts Honours in Law from Carleton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.  During law school, Amos was a semi-finalist at the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Court Competition, a competition focused on effective, proficient litigation.  In his undergrad, Amos was awarded a Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Amos is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Halton County Law Association.

In his spare time, Amos weight trains in the gym and plays piano.  He is a member of the Canadian Chopin Society and a member of Stanford University’s foresight intelligence network, the Millennium Alliance for Humanity and the Biosphere.

Amos also speaks Cantonese and is happy to assist clients requiring communication in this language.
